Down in the south east, the weather today has been lovely. Steve managed to get the day off work so we have been pottering in the garden, getting it ready for the summer. Here are a few pictures I took whilst having a play around with the camera.

10 things that've made me happy this week

It is finally April, and I have fully welcomed the month with open arms. Its fair to say March was pretty rubbish. We had everything thrown at us in those 31 days, everything from moving, losing a loved one, a hospital trip, illness to our car braking.
Id started to get myself into a right state with dwelling on all the horrible negative things going on, that all the nice positive thing in my life we passing me by.
Here is a little run down of 10 things that have made me happy this week.

1. Catching up with my best friend. We hadn't seem each other since her wedding (Feb 13th) so a catch up was much overdue.

2. Spending our evenings, keeping cosy and warm by your open fire. That thing really chucks out some heat.

3. Dressing my boys in matching outfits. Its not something I make a habit of doing but they both looked so cute.

4. Milky caramel coffee.

5. Listening to my little Riley singing "I really, really, really, really, really, really like you" over and over again. He's totally going to overkill that song but it melts my heart.

6. Easter. Egg. Chocolate. Do I need to say anything else.

7. Spending a lovely afternoon with my boys. We went for dinner, played in the arcade and even squeezed in a little stroll along the seafront.

8. Going up to bed and finding Riley all smuggled up under the covers. My bed was lovely and warm once I'd popped him back into his bed.

9. The rain. Now this is not usually something that makes me happy, as I'm definitely a summer girl but I do love listening to it beating down on the conservatory roof.

10. Clean bedding,

We are moving house.

In a few weeks we will be moving house, something I am very excited about.
We have lived in our current home for just over a year now and already we have outgrown it. We seem to be constantly moving furniture around for a bit of extra space, even clearing out things we don't want or need doesn't seem to make a much of a difference.

With two growing boys I'm very much looking forward to having a bigger house and more space for them. One of best things about the new house is that we will have a garden which is something we all have really missed. I can't wait to sit outside in the summer, watch the boys play while me and the Mr sit and chat.

The house does need some work ... actually it needs a lot of work. The whole place needs renovating and were in the process of having a kitchen and bathroom fitted. We're lucky in a way as this means we can put our own little stamp on the place. I've been spending my evenings searching the internet for inspiration and finding myself loving the white, shabby chic look. I love the bright, clean fresh look of it all but with having two small boys, who love nothing more than making a mess, its most probably not a smart idea.

Hello and welcome

Hello everyone and welcome to my boys and me.

 A little introduction.

This is Steve. My fiancé and the boys dad. We've been together for 8 years and in 2014 he finally asked me to marry him. He is self employed and works very hard to provide for me and the boys. When he is not working he can usually be found, on the ps4 or being used as a human climbing frame.

Riley is our first born. He's 3 going on 13. He loves going to nursery 2 days a week, where he gets to play with his best friend Max. He is very cheeky and loves playing with anything that has wheels.

Ronny is our second son and the latest edition to our family. He is now 17 months old and is well into the toddler stage. He enjoys chewing everything and leaving a trail of mess behind him. His loves bananas and pasta.

I'm Kelly, a typical twenty something stay at home mum. I spend most of my days with the boys, running around after them and keeping the house in order. I'm currently on a health kick trying to lose weight and be more healthier.
